I've been thinking about this for 17 days or so.
We have a huge displaced population in the Middle of the country.
Back in the early 30s there was a thing called the "dust bowl".
It was during the "Great Depression"
One of the things that happened as a result of the dust bowl (The midwest dried up and blew away) was that many people had to leave their homes.
Many of them became migrant workers. They were known as Okies....
Do we now have NOkies?
